FAQs on our Classes...

Where
Ipswich classes are held at  North Ipswich RSL on the corner of Downs and Lowry Streets(next to Riverlink). Classes will be held in the Function room(the TAB before renovations). You are welcome to enter through the Downs St door(not through the main entry door, but the doors further along toward Riverlink) this will bring you straight into the Workshop Room. You are also welcome to come through the main door on the lower level on the back and then up the stairs and across the dance floor to the room(entry via this door is only after 10am).

Will there be any items for purchase?
Some stock will be available for purchase at our classes, and catalogues will also be available for browsing and ordering. Even if you are not booked into a class, please feel free to drop in to purchase your supplies or look through our catalogues.

How long do they take?
Most classes (except the 4 hour class) are approximately 2 hours duration, unless otherwise specified.

Do I need any special knowledge or experience?
NO! We will help you with anything you may need any extra assistance on. Just come along, make some new friends, and have fun!

How much do they cost?
Our Whats New sessions are free! No booking required...

Ipswich cardmaking classes cost $10 per class. This price will reduce to $8 if you pay for your classes by the "early-bird special" date (see above for earlybird cutoff date).

Out-of-town classes cost $30 for the Toowoomba class(Saturday 4th October), $15 for the Warwick class(Thursday 9th October), $23 for the Pittsworth class(Friday 10th October) and $23 for the Dalby class(Saturday 11th October). Prices for these classes vary due to length of classes and what you'll be learning.

There is no "early bird" price for Out-of-Town classes any more, due to rising fuel and freight costs.

All classes must be prebooked and prepaid (booking will only be held for 1 week if not paid for). All classes must be paid for prior to the class. If you cannot attend a class you have booked into, please let us know as early as possible.  No money will be refunded if you ‘forget’ to come to the class.

 Do I have to book?
Definitely! Classes fill up very quickly, and by booking you will be guaranteed we will have supplies for you. Please either phone us on 07 3294 7439, or email us at admin@thestampshak.com to make a booking (booking will only be held for 1 week if not paid for).

The booking deadline for out-of-town classes is listed on the class Schedule.

Classes that do not have at least 4 participants will not go ahead (5 participants for out-of-town classes). Please ensure that you leave your phone number with us in case of class cancellations.

What should I bring along?
Don’t forget to bring your class requirements!  Tools are not supplied at the class.
 Please bring the following items with you:

  Cutting mat
  Ruler
  Craft knife
 Scissors
  Pencil and rubber
 Pricking tool and mat (if you have one)
  Shaping/embossing tool and mat (if you have one)
